Watch giraffe glide past in the valley below your private viewing deck or from the infinity-edge swimming pool and appreciate this unique landscape of ochre, pink and gold.
A quintessential experience of KwaZulu-Natal, this unique Zululand accommodation offers open fires, traditional Zulu dance, game viewing and tours of the surrounding Ango-Zulu battlefields of Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana.

There are six Beehive Suites inspired by the architecture of surrounding Zulu villages. Each room bears the Zulu name of the mountain that it overlooks. All rooms have spectacular views of the rugged Isibindi Eco-Reserve and are positioned in the indigenous gardens to give guests privacy to enjoy the peaceful surrounds. The high thatched roofs are a work of art and offer wonderful insulation in both winter and summer. Rooms can be configured as either double or twin and one extra stretcher type beds can be added to accommodate children under 18 years. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with bath or shower, some have both. Tea and coffee making facilities, overhead fans, safes and hair dryers are provided in each room. These unique suites are the ideal Zululand accommodation.

Isibindi Zulu Lodge is situated on the rugged 2000 hectare Isibindi Eco-Reserve home to various species of Plains Game and many bird species. Guests can explore the reserve either on foot or on guided game drives. The many gravel roads and game paths offer challenging mountain biking terrain for the more adventurous and during the summer months it is great fun to cool off in the rivers. A visit to the nearby battlefields of the Anglo Zulu War are a must. Fascinating trips are offered into the surrounding hills and valleys where one can learn more about the mighty Zulu nation.
