Welcome to Timamoon Lodge

Undoubtedly the most seductive lodge on the planet.

Timamoon is a privately owned, boutique Lodge situated between Sabie and Hazyview. The lodge  has a Balinese, Indian, Northern African style and  is filled with furniture and artifacts personally collected and imported by the owners during their travels. The owners pride themselves on the standard of food and the use of fresh, seasonal and local produce from the area.

Dinner is served in a candle lit restaurant, elevated on stilts above a garden of palms and beside a  large koi pond.

The rooms are suited to all year round travel. To keep warm, there are lovely big fireplaces and large stone baths for two and to keep cool, the suites have private swimming pools that look out over either a forest or the Sabie River at the bottom of the Valley.

All villas have large draped, four poster  beds with satin sheets, thatched  outdoor  daybed  filled  with cushions, an outdoor shower and a selection  of  drinks  and  snacks  in  a  mini  bar  area

Timamoon offers various spa treatments in the villas, either besides the swimming pool or by the fire place if it’s cold. For the more adventurous, the lodge is located 15km from an adventure center where activities on offer include horse riding, quad biking and river rafting are offered.

There’s also the option of a picnic basket for lunch which is delivered to your room along with a picnic blanket to be enjoyed on the rocks below the waterfall.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion please do chat one of our friendly consultants about a complimentary surprise.
